BMW has denied rumors about an M1 successor, but a new report is indicating the brand is planning a revival for 2016.
Auto Bild says the supercar will feature a lightweight body that is constructed from aluminum, magnesium, titanium and plastic. This could enable the model to tip the scales at just 1250 kg (2,756 lbs).

Vorsteiner has introduced their new GTRS5 tuning program.
Built to celebrate the upcoming retirement of the E92 M3, the model features a carbon fiber widebody kit with new bumpers, revised side skirts and extended wheel arches. There's also embroidered floor mats and forged aluminum wheels with Nitto Invo performance tires.
Customers can also order a carbon fiber hood and boot lid as well as a titanium exhaust system.

Rowen Japan has introduced a new styling program for the BMW Z4.
Dubbed the White Wolf, the model features an aggressive front bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights. There's also revised side skirts, a rear wing and a ventilated bumper with a sporty rear diffuser. Customers can also order a titanium exhaust system, LED reflectors and illuminated Z4 badging.

Based on the facelifted 7-Series, the model features more than 30 new parts including a revised front fascia with LED fog lights. There's also an upgraded interior with new upholstery choices and ceramic secondary controls.

BMW's North American President has already confirmed the 2014 M3 will feature an inline-six cylinder engine, but new details are starting to emerge about the upcoming powerplant.

BMW M6 to offer manual transmission in U.S

When it first introduced the M6 coupe and convertible, BMW was tight-lipped about whether a manual gearbox would be on the options list, raising the possibility that the M machines might be available solely with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
While the cars will definitely come solely with the dual-clutch box at launch, sources at BMW have revealed to Car and Driver that a six-speed manual will become available for both the coupe and convertible at some point in the future, likely in 2013 or 2014.

BMW 6-series Gran Coupe pricing announced (UK)


BMW's first four-door coupe will arrive on the UK market next month in the form of the 6-series Gran Coupe and here is a brand new batch of background worthy images as well as a new video.

Ahead of the launch, the Bavarian automaker has also announced pricing will start at £61,390 for the 640i model. The entry level model employs a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that generates 320 PS (235 kW / 315 hp).

BMW's i sub-brand is reaching a tipping point and the automaker is reportedly considering contingency plans should sales fail to materialize.
According to Automobile Magazine, a number of external factors - including the lack of a recharging infrastructure and austerity moves in Europe (which could result in less EV/hybrid tax credits) - are causing the company to second guess their goal of selling 100,000 i3s and 10,000 i8s annually.

BMW has unveiled the Zagato coupe concept, ahead of its debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
Jointly-developed with the Italian coachbuilder, the bespoke model was created under the "Vmax concept" of building of a road-going vehicle that has been aerodynamically optimized to be driven at high speeds.
As such, it features a handcrafted aluminum body with a long hood, a double bubble roof and muscular fenders. There's also a distinctive rear end with a transparent panel, a rear diffuser and a dual exhaust system. Lastly, the car is finished in exclusive Rosso Vivace paint and rides on a 19-inch alloy wheels.

BMW has released the initial photos and details of the BMW 3-Series Touring wagon, the second body style to join the new generation 3-Series range.
The styling is identical to its sedan sibling from the front fascia right through to the B-pillar that sits between the front and rear passenger doors. The roofline features a slighting sloping design that extends to a rear spoiler giving the wagon body style a slightly sportier appearance.

BMW has released the first official details and images of the three door hatchback version of their new generation 1-series that is crowned with the new M135i. The three-door hatch becomes the second body style to join the new generation 1-series after the five-door version.

The new model's dimensions have grown a little over its predecessor. The length has increased by 85mm, the width is up by 17mm while the wheelbase has seen its length extended by 30mm. It helps enhance the driving dynamics of the model while offering a little extra space for the interior where legroom has increased by 21mm and luggage capacity has increased by 30 liters to 360 liters.
