G-Power has received its first M3 GTS for it to tune to its oil-pumping heart's desire.
The German tuner had to wait a while before it could get its hand on a BMW M3 GTS. After all, only 220 units of the M3 GTS have been produced since the model was announced in late 2009.

BMW teases new concept in ConnectedDrive video



BMW has unveiled a teaser video for a concept that will likely be debuting at the Geneva auto show in March.
All we really get is a lot of pretty lighted lines hinting at the shape of something. But what we're seeing here is more likely a dramatic concept vehicle equipped to show off BMW's ConnectedDrive technology rather than a prototype hinting at a future model.

Two young developers create a remote control system for a BMW 1-Series guided by a Nokia mobile phone.  The two men have teamed up with Nokia Asia and have turned a BMW 1-Series into one of the largest remote control cars around.

BMW to create a new EV for China



BMW will be developing a new electric vehicle for the Chinese market with its local partner Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd.
Details are few but reports in a Chinese newspaper say the model will be built on the 5-Series platform and that a concept model will debut at an auto show in China sometime this year.

Here are the latest spy shots of the upcoming 2012 BMW M5 (F10) caught during a fuel-up while cold-weather testing in Northern Europe.
As this set of shots were taken with the M5 sitting idly under the lights of a fuel island at night, they give us a very clear view of the car. We get close enough to make out the shape of the new fenders and skirts from underneath the camouflaging tape.

Yes, Nvidia confirmed a new partnership with BMW as the GPU chip provider for in-car navigation systems loaded into next-gen vehicles.
The partnership is part of BMW’s effort to improve its in-car iDrive navigation system with optimized graphics, more accurate traffic reporting, and a streamlined user experience.

BMW i8 / Vision EfficientDynamics spied undisguised



On a recent trip to Abu Dhabi, Teamspeed member Captain Stradale stumbled upon a BMW photo shoot for the Vision EfficientDynamics / i8 / i100.
While the pictures were taken at a distance, you can see the car is a more production-ready version of the VED concept that debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Most of the extreme styling carries over, but there's a revised hood and modified doors.

BMW adopts Nvidia GPU for in-car displays

After dominating PC graphics, Nvidia set its sights on other industries, most recently getting into the automotive sector, powering navigation system graphics in Audi cars. Now Nvidia announces a partnership with BMW to power the graphics in all of its infotainment systems.
In Audi navigation systems, the Nvidia GPU allows rich 3D building and landscape rendering. BMW's current high-end navigation systems also employ rich 3D maps, but the Nvidia GPU should improve rendering speed. Nvidia says its GPU will enable 1280x600 resolution graphics in BMW's next generation infotainment system.
A prototype of the new infotainment system will be on display in a BMW 5-series at CES this week.
