Special editions of the 1-Series and 3-Series come with M aerodynamic, wheels and suspension options
BMW will be issuing special editions of the 1-Series and 3-Series in the UK in honor of the 2012 Olympic games which will take place in London next year.
The London 2012 Performance Edition package for the 1-Series includes an M aerodynamic kit, dark-chrome 18-inch M light alloy wheels, High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, dark-chrome exhaust tailpipe and dark-line rear lights. The 1-Series special edition also gets an M Sport Suspension, sport seats in Royal Blue with white stitching, an M Sport steering wheel and gearshifter, as well as floor mats with Royal Blue piping. The car comes adorned with London 2012 exterior badges too.
The 3-Series gets an almost identical package and both offers represent substantial savings for the customer in comparison with a similarly equipped series model.
