BMW is preparing the first facelift for the5-Series Gran Turismo and we have the spy photos to prove it.
Sales of the GT have been extremely low but BMW hopes that with this revision the numbers will go up. Although these spy photos might suggest differently due to the plastic cladding screwed onto the lid, the 5-Series GT will lose its huge rear spoiler which will be replaced by a more elegant rear end.
Other changes expected include an updated front bumper fascia with new air intakes, but the front grille and headlights will remain the same. We don’t know if there are any changes inside the cabin, while the engines are expected to be carried over from the current model.
The 2014 BMW 5-Series GT will most likely make its public debut in January at NAIAS in Detroit.
