BMW M4 rendered again
This rendering of the BMW M4 Coupe comes to us courtesy of BimmerPost.com.
Based on the 4-Series Coupe Concept, this is yet another tastefully done render of the M4 which has been fitted with a 1M/M6-like front bumper and the usual M side skirts. It also shows a significant hood bulge, bigger M alloy wheels, a carbon fiber roof and wider fenders.
Power is expected to come from a straight-six turbocharged engine generating 444 hp (331 kW) connected to either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch (M-DCT) gearbox which will receive an eight gear during the car's lifespan. The same engine + gearbox combo will be available for the new M3.
The next-gen M3 will go on sale in 2014, followed most likely in 2015 by the M4 Coupe.
