Little is known about the X7, but it will be based on the stretched platform of the next generation 5- and 7-Series. The vehicle is set to come out in 2017 or 2018 as a competitor for the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class.
In late February, the Bavarian brandannounced the model will be manufactured at the company’s Spartanburg (South Carolina) plant, where the automaker plans to invest 1 billion USD (730M EUR).
