Little is known about the model but it will reportedly have unique styling and a totally different look than the X1.  The design hasn't be finalized but the magazine says we can expect muscular styling, a long hood and a compact greenhouse.  The crossover could also feature of a mix of M Sport and X-Line styling cues.
Specifications are still surrounded in secrecy but the model is expected to ride on the UKL platform and be offered with a variety of three- and four-cylinder engines.
If everything pans out, a five-door variant will be launched in 2018 and cost approximately $30,000.  It could eventually be joined by a three-door variant in 2019.
