BMW 6-Series cabrio spied at photo shoot

Here's a spy shot of the 2012 BMW 6-Series cabriolet model caught on a photo shoot. The second image is alleged to be a cleaned up version of the photo by German magazine Autobild, drawing influences, perhaps, from other sources on the 6-series.
The original image came from e90post.com. The 6-Series cabriolet in the photo appears to be wearing European plates.

BMW 1-Series M Coupe - new details released

BMW has released new information about the 1-Series M Coupe.
First and foremost, the company has confirmed power will be provided by a bi-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with approximately 340 hp (254 kW / 345 PS). It will be mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission, so flappy-paddle fans need not apply.
The car will weigh around 1500 kg (3,307 lbs) and feature a chassis, braking system and rear differential similar to the M3. These tweaks will enable the M Coupe to be ten seconds faster around the Nordschleife than the previous M3 (E46).

BMW 1-Series M Coupe rendered

Since BMW still hasn't completely unveiled the new 1-Series M Coupe, releasing instead just a few teaser photos of the car still mostly covered, here's a rendering of what the car's rear end may come to look like.
These renderings were done by automotive designer Jon Sibal. The second image shows what the car would look like when hitting the brakes and lighting up the LCI taillights. Sibal has a source inside BMW and his renderings do come with a lot of credibility. He previously rendered a front view too, which can be seen here.

BMW teases i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid yet again

The production version of BMW's Vision EfficientDynamics (VED) Concept is inching closer to reality as the company's teaser site, Dontblogaboutthis.com, has released a new video which shows the vehicle in action.
While details are limited, you can clearly see the prototype has dropped the 6-Series body and now features a full VED shell. This is rather interesting as all the main styling attributes are carried over, expect the glass doors.

BMW 1-Series M Coupe teaser photos and video from Paris

Well, the car made it to Paris but it didn't stick around for the show.
BMW has released these teaser photos of the 1-Series M Coupe posing rather coyly on the Champs d'Elysées hiding mostly behind a black veil.

Craigslist is full of amazing gems if you're willing to spend some time digging, and this guy is one of them. This nice man is offering to use your indispensable, coveted New York City parking spot... for free! He says, "I am offering to park my Brand New shiny BMW in your drive way. Cost to you is $0. Not only will it increase your status in the neighborhood, but it will also make your house look GOOD! I'm a pretty generous person, so I want nothing in return for this privilege! Park Slope only!" We have a bad feeling he's only half kidding.

BMW M6 F12 renderings based on 6 Series Coupe Concept surface

Here are some rendered images of the upcoming 2012 BMW M6 Coupe (F12) compliments of Bimmerboost.com.
The artist's renderings take their cues from the BMW Concept 6 Series Coupé which BMW will be premiering at the Paris Motor Show in one week. Given that, these images likely come quite close to what the F12 M6 will ultimately look like.
