BMW may introduce tri-turbo diesel for the facelifted 2012 X6 and 7-Series models

New triple turbo 3.0 liter diesel unit from BMW will be good for between 350 PS (258 kW / 345 bhp) and 400 PS (294 kW / 395 bhp)

According to BMW Blog, who's sister site Bimmer Today cites sources inside the company, BMW will introduced a tri-turbo diesel power plant next spring in the facelifted X6 model.

BMW just took the wraps off its new 2012 M5 Nürburgring taxi during the M Festival at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

The BMW 'Ring taxi service is dubbed the "world's fastest taxi ride," allowing enthusiasts to take a seat next to a professional driver for a lap around the nearly 13-mile Nordschleife (North Course) track. Currently, those interested can either sit in the passenger seat of an E60 M5 or E92 M3 for the assuredly exhilarating ride around the loop.
