This is the first time that MANSORY has tuned a BMW model. But the Swiss tuner promises it won't be the last.
On the outside, MANSORY adds a little bulk to the X5 by way of widened fenders and side skirts which stretch the width of the X5 by 70 mm at the front and 80 mm at the rear. A front spoiler with cooling inlets and a new carbon-fiber bonnet with additional air inlets are also part of the package. At the rear is a quad stainless-steel sport exhaust system with integrated carbon fiber diffuser and a roof spoiler for extra downforce.
The X5 is also lowered by 40 mm and is fitted with a sport brake system and 315/25R23 tires for the silver mono-block cast wheels.
For under the bonnet, MANSORY provides a substantial boost in power for the X5 M model - dialed up to 670 PS (493 kW / 661 bhp) and a maximum torque reading of 950 Nm from the standard 555 PS (408 kW / 547 bhp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). Top speed is 300 km/h and the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 4.2 seconds.
On the inside is a wide range of options where MANSORY will individually make a leather finish tailored to your choosing. A new sport steering wheel is also available.
"The X5 is just the beginning. Other fascinating refinements for the BMW X6 as well as for the BMW 7 series are soon to follow," said Mansory Managing Director Michael Stein in the company press release.
