BMW has released a series of digital images to represent a concept vehicle set to appear at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The company is remaining tight-lipped concerning the specifics of this topless concept car, only making a point to suggest that this year’s Geneva Motor Show will highlight new technology for both current and future methods of mobile networking in what it calls a “particularly focused way.”
BMW says that the design and technology of the Vision ConnectedDrive roadster are aimed at making the vehicle an integral part of a networked world. Special attention was paid towards the comfort, safety and the infotainment experience in the vehicle, with BMW suggesting that it has developed ways to individually tailor the requirements of both the driver and passenger at the same time.
In terms of powertrain, or production intent, BMW has not yet made any announcements. Be sure to follow Leftlane’s coverage of the Geneva Motor Show starting March 1, 2011, as we bring you live photos and detailed information of the vehicles revealed at the show.
