We have caught the next generation BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo testing on a number of occasions but it appears we will have to wait a little longer before full details are released. According to insiders unearthed by BMWBlog, the 3-Series GT won't be launched for over a year with March 2013 being stated.
The sources also confirmed the new model is going to be more attractive with sleeker lines in comparison to the 5-Series GT version which was not well received.
It is known internally as the " Progressive Activity Coupe", mainly due to the sloping roofline and it also wears a rear end that could be described as a cross between a touring and a shooting brake.
Despite the reduced size in comparison to the 5-Series GT, the 3-er GT will have more legroom and the same amount of trunk space as its larger sibling.
The March 2013 market launch suggest we will see the 2013 BMW 3-series GT unveiled late this year or early next year. The Paris Motor Show in September seems a likely contender. PHOTOS
