BMW has confirmed their line-up for the New York Auto Show next month will include world debuts for the M6 Convertible alongside the US version of the X1 Sport Activity Vehicle.
The M6 Convertible returns to the market after a two year break with its 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V-8 that produces 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It comes with the soft-top fabric roof that can be opened and closed within 19 seconds at speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph).
The X1 SAV that has enjoyed success across Europe arrives on US shores for the first time. The engine lineup is confirmed to include a TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine and models are scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the summer.
BMW will also bring the M6 Coupe and X6 M for their North American debuts at the New York show and they will be joined by the 6 Series Gran Coupe (US show debut) and the i3 and i8 concepts.
