BMW has presented 20-year old MotoGP champion Marc Marquez with a brand new M6 Coupe.
The one-off model features a Frozen Black exterior with matching matte black 20-inch light alloy wheels.

The 2014 BMW 4-series GranCoupe has been caught testing on video during its latest round of testing at the Nurburgring. As we can see from the prototype in this video, the four-door version of the range will source its design directly from its two-door 4-series Coupe sibling.

Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge entries revealed

The entries for the 10th annual Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge have been revealed.
Dubbed "Biomimicry & Mobility 2025 – Nature's Answer to Human Challenges," this year's challenge includes twelve entries which have been designed to address a variety of problems including congestion, pollution and sustainability.

2014 BMW M4 Convertible leaked?

The first purported picture of the 2014 BMW M4 Convertible has surfaced online.
While it's always a good idea to take these things with a healthy dose of salt, Autoblog.nl is claiming the picture is a screenshot taken from a German brochure. It shows the model will have a four-tailpipe exhaust system and a modified rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. We can also see aerodynamic side skirts and stylish alloy wheels.

A prototype of the 2014 BMW M3 (F80) was spied while exiting a parking garage.
Back in August we heard the new M3's engine courtesy of a teaser video released by BMW and now the engine's soundtrack has made a comeback via a spy clip showing a prototype while exiting a parking lot. The sound you are hearing comes from an all-new inline-six TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter "S55" engine rated at about 430 HP (316 kW) at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of more than 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).

M3 keeps up GT-R's pace

A BMW M3 confronted a Nissan GT-R on a crowded Nürburgring bridge to gantry lap.
The race took place earlier this month and involved a BMW M3 (E92) which managed to keep up the pace with a Nissan GT-R (R35). The M3 had several modifications installed as it featured an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Schirmer three-way suspension, AP Racing brakes, Recaro sport seats and roll cage.

M version unlikely

A BMW representative told Inautonews the X4 will be showcased on March 14 at the 84thGeneva International Motor Show.
The announcement was made by the company's spokesperson Christophe Koenig who said the car will be presented during the first half of 2014, with more details to be disclosed on March 14. In other words, the X4 will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show and will probably go on sale several months later.

A new report concerning the BMW 4-Series GranCoupe says the model will reach dealerships next June.
Essentially a four-door coupe version of the 3-Series, the new 4-Series GranCoupe will be shown to the public in March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale in June. The car will be offered in 420i, 420d, 428i and 435i versions, but U.S. buyers will only get to choose between the 428i and the 435i models.

A 150 HP turbodiesel

German media is reporting the next generation of the BMW 5-Series will be offered with a three-cylinder engine.
BMW fans are in for a huge surprise as it seems the next-gen 5-Series due in 2016 will be offered with a small 3-cylinder turbodiesel producing 150 HP (110 kW). In this configuration the new 5-Series will have a fuel consumption of just 3.9 liters / 100 km (60 mpg US or 72 mpg UK).
