2015 BMW X6 M spied testing at Nurburgring
The second generation X6 M (F86) was spied recently on the Nürburgring showing BMW is determined to come out with another high-performance version of its SAC (Sports Activity Coupe).
The all-new X6 will likely be unveiled later this year before going on sale early 2015 and a few months after that the range will be topped by an M version seen testing here around the 'Ring. Details about the model are limited at this point but most likely BMW will retain the twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine. However, some updates are probably in the works to bump output of the current model's 555 PS (408 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft).
In terms of design, don't expect a major makeover as the X6 will still be the result of mixing a crossover with a coupe. It will essentially be a larger X4 while the M version will look a bit meaner with its more aggressive body and quad exhaust setup.
The standard second-gen X6 could be unveiled in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
