BMW 2-Series Active Tourer 7-seater spied testing on Nürburgring [video]

TouriClips recently spotted the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer 7-seater while being tested on the Nurburgring race track.

Seen in this video is a fully camouflaged prototype of the longer version driving aggressively during preliminary testing. Last time the vehicle was caught on camera was almost a year ago, when it was spied together with the five-seater Active Tourer.
It is believed the 7-seater MPV will be revealed later this year, probably during the Paris Motor Show in October. The vehicle will be based on the front-wheel drive UKL platform and will possibly ride on a longer wheelbase. The rear doors seem to be slightly bigger, while the roof is taller.
The family car could be powered by the same engine lineup as the 5-seater version. This means a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 136 PS (100 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft), a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 231 PS (170 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel unit with 150 PS (110 kW) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque will be available.
