xDrive 50i gets 590 PS & 850 Nm
Lumma Design is providing a sneak preview of their aftermarket package for the second generation BMW X6 (F16).
The overhauled X6 has received a wide body kit featuring a carbon lower front bumper, a material also used for the side skirts which boast ventilation ducts. There's also a redesigned rear apron bumper bar with diffuser incorporating the quad exhaust pipes while a rear spoiler provides additional downforce on the rear axle. Lumma worked on a new hood design manufactured from carbon fiber and equipped with a centrally-positioned large air vent.
A power upgrade is also available for the xDrive 50i which in its standard configuration comes with a V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine developing 450 PS (330 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). After Lumma's engineers work their magic, the eight-cylinder engine can be tuned to deliver 590 PS (434 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.
Besides the additional oomph, the Lumma CLR X 6 R can hit a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h) as opposed to the stock car which is electronically-capped at 155 mph (250 km/h).
Other changes include large 22-inch alloy wheels with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires (295/30-22 front and 335/25-22 rear), sport seats with additional side support and built-in airbags, velour floor mats, aluminum pedals and other similar goodies.
