BMW is showing off their most expensive paint which is available on select models and it's called Pure Metal Silver.
BMW Individual introduced the Pure Metal Silver paint on a production model more than a year ago when the M5 facelift came out and it's one of the 230+ exterior colors offered across the range. What makes it stand out aside from the eye-catching brushed aluminum look is the price tag as opting for this hue will jack up the price by €8,000 ($10,000), thus making it the most expensive paint on offer from BMW.
It costs a lot more than other BMW Individual colors available as for example Frozen Bronze Metallic is $3,600 in United States and €3,600 in Germany. The special type of paint (color code: P13) can also be observed on the limited-run M6 Gran Coupe Launch Edition introduced in Canada in 2013 but it was actually inaugurated on the 2012 Zagato Roadster concept which never made it as a production model.
