The New York Auto Show continues as BMW has taken the wraps off the 2016 ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe.
Set to arrive at U.S. dealership in June, the updated model has a new front fascia with a revised grille and a modified front spoiler. The car also has a new hood, blue brake calipers and standard LED Adaptive Headlights with High Beam Assistant.
While the styling changes are subtle, the car's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine has been tuned to produce an impressive 600 bhp (447 kW) and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm) of torque - 60 bhp (45 kW) and 50 lb-ft (67 Nm) more than its predecessor. It is connected to an ALPINA-tuned eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 200 mph (321 km/h).
