BMW M135i officially unleashed with 320PS [video]

BMW has unleashed the first official details and images of the M-induced 1-Series hatch that has been labeled as the M135i. The model was initially previewed in concept form earlier this year and has now progressed to full production.

The new high performance variant (M135i) is the first M-induced model to be blessed upon the 1-Series range and comes with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that pumps 320PS(235kW/315hp) and 450Nm (332lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. It allows the M135i to accelerate from 0-100kph(0-62mph) in just 4.9 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250kph(155mph).

The BMW M135i also boasts the brand's xDrive all-wheel-drive system, an aerodynamically enhanced body kit, an upgraded suspension and a unique interior that distinguishes itself from the standard variants.
While BMW has only showcased the M135i is three door form on this occasion, we are told the model will also be available in the five-door version as well.
Unfortunately the M135i hatch is not due to arrive on US shores but sources have confirmed the coupe version will. PHOTOS
