BMW M5 M Performance Editions announced [video]

Only 30 units will be offered in the UK



BMW has announced plans to offer an M5 M Performance edition in the United Kingdom.
Revealed in a YouTube video, the model will be available in three Frozen paint colors: red, white and blue. Production will be limited to 30 units and only ten vehicles will be built in each color.
It remains unclear if there will be any performance modifications, but the standard model has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
