These shots depict the regular 2014 X5 whereas the ones posted last week showed the version equipped with the M Sport Package. This lesser variant has smaller wheels which make the car look less appealing than the M Sport model.
BMW will initially offer the new X5 with a 450 HP twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine in the xDrive50i model, a 258 HP six-cylinder TwinPower diesel in the xDrive30d and a 381 HP 3.0-liter, six-cylinder tri-turbocharged mill for the M50d model.
Production will take place in Spartanburg, South Carolina and deliveries in Germany are programmed to kick off in November, following the car’s public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
