model.BMW will initially offer the new X5 with a 450 HP twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine in the xDrive50i model, a 258 HP six-cylinder TwinPower diesel in the xDrive30d and a 381 HP 3.0-liter, six-cylinder tri-turbocharged mill for the M50d model.
Production will take place in Spartanburg, South Carolina and deliveries in Germany are programmed to kick off in November, following the car’s public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show
