BMW has released 187 new high-resolution images of the all-new BMW M6 coupe and convertible models in promotion of their market launch. The photos show the modest re-design of the coupe variant's rear end that now incorporates a trunk-lip spoiler that increases the aerodynamic performance of the model at high speeds.
Both versions come with a 4.4-litre V8 engine featuring M TwinPower Turbo technology that generates 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 4.2 seconds (4.3 seconds for the convertible) before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph (155 mph). Those looking to remove the limiter can reach 305 km/h (189 mph) by purchasing the M Driver's Package.
The M6 convertible is available now in US dealerships with a recommended retail price of $113,995 while the M6 Coupe will arrive towards the end of summer with a sticker price of $106,995.
