Rear end looks a lot better
Several official images of the second generation BMW X6 have surfaced the web ahead of an expected imminent full reveal.
Drawing most of its styling cues from the 2014 X5, the second iteration of the coupe-profiled sport activity vehicle adopts an evolutionary design which suits the model quite well, especially at the back where the rear end doesn't look awkward as it does on the outgoing model. The love/hate silhouette has been maintained but somehow BMW managed to make the model look more refined.
Engine lineup will be taken from the X5 so expect an inline-six 306 PS 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo and a V8 450 PS 4.4-liter while on the diesel side there will be a six-cylinder 258 PS and a 381 PS tri-turbo 3.0-liter. Later on during the car's lifespan, a range-topping X6 M will be added to the range with more than 555 PS (408 kW) coming from an uprated V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo. PHOTOS
An official online reveal of the 2015 BMW X6 should occur shortly.
