The BMW M6 Coupe facelift has been spied undergoing testing ahead of a probable early 2015 launch.
Judging by the light amount of camouflage this prototype carries we shouldn't expect too many changes for the facelifted M6 Coupe as the revisions will be minor. The most important modification can be noticed in the reshaped headlights which have a different LED daytime running graphic looking similar to what we have seen in recent spy shots of the next-gen BMW 7-Series.
There's also going to be a moderate update for the front bumper along with some light tweaks for the taillights but other than that the BMW M6 Coupe will remain virtually the same. Some fresh alloy wheel designs and a few interior cabin updates could be planned but nothing to write home about.
In the engine department we will likely find the same V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo with 560 PS (412 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. It's enough to allow the high-performance coupe hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds before topping out at an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h). At an additional cost, BMW is offering an optional M Driver's package raising the limiter to 189 mph (305 km/h).
The entire facelifted BMW 6-Series range will likely be unveiled early next year. PHOTOS
